Did you get up at midnight and have a little steak ? Welcome to the board. I love your resolve. You don't need to pray to be successful, just come around the board daily and you will remain accountable for your eating! Best of luck to you.

I am ashame to say but I fell off the wagon which is why I haven't been posting. I don't know what my problem is because I want and need this so bad. I know all of you understand. I was talking with my co-worker and she to had been on the diet which seems to be the only thing to work for her as well. So we are going to to this diet together in hopes of keeping each other motivated.

                    Re: Introduction

Glad you decided to post again and recommit to Atkins.

Doing the plan with a friend is a great idea! I'm sure you'll both reap the benefits and give each other a lot of support. Post lots here too... we understand the problems and can help.

Can you pinpoint what it was exactly that caused you to take a tumble from the wagon? If you can, you can work on strategies to avoid the same thing happening again.

Remember to always have high fat snacks on hand for when those cravings hit. Being prepared is the best way to avoid cheats.

Janella, here's the thing. When we see someone not posting anymore, it usually is because they've fallen. It's great you can do this with someone else. Also, posting daily, at least to say you're alive and well is also a great thing to do.

Listen to Sally, she knows! Always keep legal foods handy to grab and go, that way you won't be so tempted to veer!

Regardless, I'm glad to have you return.

I think one of my problems is I wait too long to eat and by the time I get ready to eat I feel starved and out of energy. Its like my body just crave carbohydrates. How do I strengthen my mind? I feel so weak minded. Have you every felt like you need help and you find yourself reaching and reaching out to other people but the only one who can save you is you? That is were I am at. I am having such a hard time getting started and I don't know why because I believe I can achieve anything I put my mind to.
