  • Gonna get tough this year!

    Hi everyone :wave ,

I am not new to atkins and not actually new to this forum (I joined about a year ago but forgot what my user name was). Several years ago, I lived the Atkins lifestyle and lost a decent amount of weight. I kept it off for about 2.5 years but then allowed the weight to come back. During 2004, I went back on Atkins and lost about 30 pounds. I still have at least 30 pounds left and have actually allowed myself to gain 5 over the holidays. The bad thing is, I did not realize that I was "cheating". I did without the traditional holiday meals and still gained weight :no

That all said, I have rejoined the forum and am planning to take control of my body and my life in 2005. I look forward to talking with you all.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I have applied for the boot camp but probably wont get in this one as I am sure it fiil up quickly. I have also joined the exercise challenge. I am hoping this will really help me get started losing again. I think my biggest mistake is NOT eating. I just dont get very hungry so I dont eat. I am going to try to do a strict induction for the next couple of weeks and am sure I will need your help. You know, when you have lived the Atkins way for a long time, it really gets difficult to go back to the beginning and do it correctly. You get spoiled I guess and forget to do things properly. I am certain you guys will be a great blessing to me on this "new" journey.

          Thanks again for the welcome
