Hi everyone. You can see by my ADBB sign-up date that I've been here before. Also, some of you may have seen me lurking around your journals and what not. Anyway, I can't believe I'm 223lbs. I reluctantly tried Weight Watchers after some prodding from friends and it didn't work at all for me. I lost like 11 pounds in a month and a half and was starving the whole tme. So, basically, I'm back! And I'm trying to do everything exactly right this time.

Hi Stephanie. Glad to see you back. I've tried all the diets out there and found that the help and friendship that I received here on the board made the difference for me.
Have you read the book, Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution? (DANDR) If not, it will be the best asset for doing this program. Make a plan for your success. Write out your daily and weekly schedule and insert your new WOL/WOE (way of life/way of eating) into it. Find out the best time for you to exercise, the foods you can make and enjoy and fill your mind with positive thoughts and images.

Welcome back Stefanie! Excellent news that you decided to re-commit to Atkins. I'm sure you'll do just fine this time around.
Have you thought about stopping by the Second Time Around Club? Lots of support to be had there from everyone and anyone who has fallen from the wagon at least once, but then gotten back on again. Many have gone on to reach goal, happily.

Thanks, Dream and Sally for the welcome back.
Dream - I am reading the book as we speak. I was going to wait to start Atkins until I finished the whole thing, but I didn't want to waste anymore time. I read parts of the book when I was doing this woe before, but it obviously helps to read the whole thing and that's what I'm doing!
Sally - I've stopped by the STAC and you're right, they're awesome!
I have a major headache today but I'm powering through it!
