  • Long time looker, ready for support

Hello everyone, I have been looking on this site for the picture support for awhile now. I really feel that I could actually accomplish my goals if I talked with the people who know first hand what I am going thru. This is my re-start of atkins. Last year from early June to Late August I lost a total of 45 pounds. I started at 230 and got down to 185. I felt great, then life took over, and it was eat whatever I had time to eat. Then STRESS took over and it was carb loading time. So needless to say, I went back up to 205. I have been back on induction(well, my version, 20 or less, but not watching where they actually come from), for about 2 weeks and am back down to 195. So after a year I still feel that this is the woe for me. I have seen soooooo many people on this sight actually achieve their goal, and really think that one day I can be one of those people, and hopefully be an ispiration like so many of you have been for me. I just actually bought the book, and intend on next monday to re-start induction the right way. So if any one is interested in being an ongoing buddy, and is patient enough to help navigate how to use this site properly(promise I am a fast learner), I could really use the help.

Hey mandilyn! We have all been "there" at one point! This is a great board with lots of support. Since you plan on starting on Monday, use the weekend to read and reread thebook. I think you will find it enormously helpful. It's very important to do this WOE (way of eating) properly from start to finish. A clean induction is a must! You did it before, you will do it again!

Just wanted to drop by and welcome you to the board Mandilyn. Silly gave you some very important advice on reading the book and rereading it. It looks like you know what it takes to do this WOE, so just stick with it and I will see you at that goal line. see you around, brady
