Hi, I just found this site and today is seven days into induction. The first week was hard because as I was dealing with the induction flu and I was also dealing with a migraine. I feel better now. I haven't lost much weight yet but I'm sticking with it. I don' have much to lose and I have to say I'm still a bit sceptical but I'm going to stick with it. I'm f/35 years old 5'5 and 138 pounds I believe I was 140 when I started. I haven't cheated at all-I'm never hungry and I maybe eating too much cheese and not enough veggies. I'm still learning but I think I'm doing O.K. In the morning my ketostix show small and at night about 5:00 they show moderate. WHY is that? My goal weight is 123lbs but that maybe too low for me so I'll take 126-128lbs. Please help me and stay strong! -Soup out!!

Welcome and post any questions you have. I don't know anything about the ketostix, I've never used them--as long as they're showing color, you're fine. I'm glad you're feeling better-the energy surge should be happening any time now!

Welcome to ADBB Soup! Love your droll nic!

Caryl is right.. the stix mean little, but if they show any colour at all you're probably on the right track.
There are many reasons for differing colours and reactions and the stix should be just a guide. Things like alcohol can give a false positive reading, for instance. The amount of water you drink will also affect the colour. Be aware also that having a nice purple colour does not necessarily mean you're burning body fat... it could be dietary fat, if you're eating too much.
