  • A newbie from the land downunder...

    Hi all,

My name is Amber, I'm a 34 yr F from Sydney Australia and have started my induction today. I did the Atkins diet about three years ago and lost 22 pounds( I have googled to convert kilos to pounds..hehe) but gave up.

I bought the "New" diet revolution book yesterday, brought all the lollies into work today for the boys to eat, stumbled across these forums yesterday as I googled for the atkins diet and read many of your stories which gave me hope.

My weight now is 194(pounds) and goal weight is 132, wow pounds looks so much more than kilos... :yikes

So anyway I've come here for support and :help

            Thanks for the welcome :wave

Well my first day is nearly over, didn't think I'd get a sugar craving so early.

Oh well, one step at a time.

                  Hi!
I am a newbie, too! Just thought I'd say hello and say that I believe we can both do this! I have more weight to lose than you, but I know from past experience that high protein diets really can take the weight off!

Having been with the airlines, I have visited Sydney twice and LOVED it!! Although I am furloughed, I am hoping my husband and I can visit again.

Anyway, congratulations on your decision to go with the Atkins plan! I know we will be successes!! :wave
