  • Here Goes

Well, here I am. I've been surfing the web learning about this WOE all day and decided to take the plunge. I have been reading all that I can about the 1st phase and hopefully, I can get out and get the book tomorrow.

I say hopefully, because right now I'm somewhat mobility challenged. My back decided to give out on me Thursday and I'm been bound to my bed for the most part. I can hardly walk. That means I can't start doing any exercise for a couple of days. I'm pretty sure I have enough LC food to get me started for a couple of days.

I'm here looking for all the I can get. I intend to make use of all the resources out here to make it to goal. So, if I ask what appears to be a stupid question or two, please bear with me.

I know with all the success stories I've read; I can and will do this...with lots of help.

Looking forward to having some dialog with you all soon.

        Re: Here Goes

Hello Meaty, I'm glad you asked. I was trying to figure out how to do that. I was looking around trying to find the answer. I made a signature, but evidently don't know how to include it in the post. I thought it would automatically pop up.

Does this count as the first of my many stupid questions?

Hello there MsThang and welcome to the ADBB! You'll find there's all the support you could wish for on this board. Friendship too and great low carbing (Atkins) advice.
Sorry to hear about your back. Do hope you're on the mend pretty quickly. I empathise, being a long term back sufferer.

The book you want is: Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002 edition). That's the edition this board goes by as it was the last one written entirely by Dr A before his death, so hasn't had other "pens" messing around with it.

Post lots. We're keen to follow your progress and applaud you along the way.
                Before and after:
