    Hi all,

    Im 26 year old female, ready to re start Atkins!

    I began atkins in 2003 and was very successful. I lost over 45 pounds in 5 months. Then, i had a lot of time for excerise and to eat properly.

    Since last September, i have been working an office job that leaves me with NO time to work out, or even prepare my meals. I am left with what is provided here, ALL pasta, bread, and sweets! Thus i have gained back 30 pounds. I am totally saddened by this and really want to make a change.

    I loved the way i felt when i was 30 pounds lighter, and want to again.

    My goal is to lose 30 pounds by april. Is this feasible?

    Looking forward on starting on this plan ag ain!

      Welcome back to Atkins. You came to the best place for inspiration. Everyone here has lots of advice and support to share and make your journey on your weight loss fun.

      Everyone loses weight and inches at different speeds. I don't know how much you will lose by April, but I can asssure you that by following the program, eating right, exercising, taking supplements and drinking your water....you will feel better, you will have lots of energy & you will be considerably smaller. Take your measurements now and compare them every few weeks to see how much you are shrinking. If you need any help, just let us know. We are all in this together!!

        welcome well you seem to know what to do and how to do as you've lost weight w/ atkins before- good luck. everyone loses at different rates but the more you need to lose the quicker it will come off.

          Welcome to the board. Good for you for getting back on track. You know it works. If all of the weight doesn't come off by April, some will have, and that is definitely better than none, or worse.

          Keep it up, and just do your best. You owe it to yourself to feel that way again.

            As much as I would love lose my 30 pounds by april, reading your wonderful advice and encourgement it doesnt matter if I make the thirty pound mark. Just as long as I feel better and make a difference from now to April.
