    Hi i am 24, getting married in 4 months and need to lose 30ib, but i also want to have this weigh of eating as a way of life, my energy levels are already rised, which is brill as i am always tired and the last 2 days i have had no problems getting out of bed!!

    Here is what i have being eating hoping ye will point out if i am doing it right or not!!

    Day 1

    2 rashers & 2 eggs
    chicken salad with egg mayo
    Cold sliced beef with cheese & tomato

    Day 2
    2 rashers & 2 eggs
    2 egg omellete with ham
    chicken with garlic, broc & french beans and small garlic butter

    Day 3
    2 rashers & 2 eggs
    homemade cream of chicken soup
    Chilli mince with onions, mushrooms and peppers

    Day 4
    2 rashers & scrambled eggs
    chicken salad with egg mayp
    Chilli mince with onions, mushrooms and peppers

    Day 5
    2 rashers & 2 sausages
    2 egg omellete with ham
    chicken with garlic, cabbage & french beans small amount of garlic butter

    Nearly forgot to say that i have had about 3 cups of decaf coffee with cream and i also have being drinking peppermint tea!!,
    Not forgetting all of the water !! So can ye tell me if i am doing out or is there anything i am doing wrong as i really wanna do this right!!

    I'm not the one to be anaylzing your menu, as I have just started this new way of eating myself. So.. I'll leave that to some of the pro's!

    I did, however, want to say welcome and congrats to taking this step towards becoming a healthier and better you! I am getting married in a month... I wish I had been like you, and started 4 months out.

    Congrats on getting married and choosing to be healthy for life! And... welcome to the board. I can't say it enough... these people are really great!!!





    Looking forward to meeting the "new" me ....
    (I'm going to get there by following this new way of eating.... Making changes for the better!)

      Welcome Cavgirl. I am not sure what a rasher is. Everything else looks good. Be sure to check the carb count and sugar content on the peppermint tea. Congratulations on your up coming wedding and best of luck to you.

        rashers are bacon!! there is no sugar in peppermint tea there is 2g of carbs per 100ml!!

          Hello, welcome, just getting started myself, I did good one week then bad the next. So Maybe the next will be better.
          Hello Everyone, not sure where I have surfaced but at least I am somewhere. When I first joined I wasn't sure of what to put but now I hope I know a little more . I want to be in the Christmas Chanlenge and hope to meet my goal head on
          I want to lose 30lb total and have lost a few but I am strugling with the same 3 back and forth, going to hange it . I want to ware a size 12 and be able to go shopping and have more fun by finding things that do look good on me. Thanks to everyone who has helped me. Linda

            Hiya and welcome! Glad to have you aboard.

            Your menu looks very good. Well done. Just make sure you're getting the correct amount of veggies in (you don't put amounts). In induction it should be either three cups of salad veggies, or two cups salad and one cup "other veggies" from the induction list. Try to make sure that your salads are not just lettuce, but also made with more nutrient dense veggies too.

              thanks guys i posted on the other section that my weigh in was this morning and i am down 8ib, i orginal thought that i had 30ib to lose i actually have 40ib to lose!! so 8 gone another 32 to go!!!
