Hello everybody, I'm a newbie this is my first day starting the Atkins Diet, I've attempted before but never stuck with it long enough to lose anything. (I have a hard time with diets) but this time my boyfriends helping me stick to it and I have faith it will work this time! I weigh 160 now and I'm 5'9" I want to lose 10-15lbs by Halloween which by the results I've been reading about that shouldnt be too hard of a goal. Over all my goal is to lose 30 lbs by my 21st birthday at the end of January, which again doesnt seem to be a very hard goal from what other people have lost. Wish me luck!!

Way to go on being ready to change the way you eat... remember, this isn't a "fad diet", but really it is a new way of eating. I'm happy you've joined us! Use these boards... the people on here are full of a wealth of knowledge, experience, and information.
