  • Starting my life today

    :wave
Hi, my name is Christy. Today is my very first day of Atkins. I've read the book and I am now ready to start my life.

Over the years, I have found that I do best at something when I actively engage with other people experiencing the same things as me. This is why I sought out a place to call home. Well, here I am.

I have a great daughter, a wonderful step daughter, two active step sons, a loving husband, a sucessful full-time career, and way too many pets. I just turned thirty last month and I live in Houston, Texas.

I look forward to being active on this board and making lots of new friends!!!

    Christy
    Sincerely,
    Christy

Welcome, Texas Gal! :wave You will love, love this way of eating! I have been on Atkins for a few months and have experienced so much more energy along with the wonderful weight loss.

If you print out the induction food list posted on the board and follow it, find some kind of exercise you will enjoy doing several times a week, and come to this board and read when you need a bit of motivation or a very practical tip on a multitude of issues, you will meet your weight loss goals.

I look forward to reading your posts and wish you much success in 2005!
