  • Hi!

    :wave

After doing much research and soul searching I started Atkins on December 27, 2004. Like many people I packed on 15 pounds during my freshman year in college, then 15 more during my sophomore year, then...well, you get the picture! At my heaviest I was almost 200 pounds, but through the "starvation and way too much exercise" diet I was able to get down to 170. Still, I wanted to get down to a lean 145 and do it in a healthy way that I could maintain for the rest of my life.

I can honestly say I was really nervous when I started this way of eating. All the fat! All the calories! How could one possibly lose weight? To my delight the pounds did begin to come off. So far I have lost 16 pounds and am thrilled with this process.

I'm not much of a messageboard poster, but I luckily stumbled on this board a few days into induction and have been an addict ever since. The support and wealth of knowledge here is absolutely wonderful. :yes

    Here are my stats:

    Female, 23 years old, 5'9''
    SW: 170
    CW: 154
    GW: 145

I just wanted to introduce myself!
