Hi everyone! I can't wait to get know people. My name is Lacey and I am 20 years old. I am happily married and my 3 year anniversary is on Tuesday, October 16th. My husband's name is Ted. We are the proud parents to 2-1/2 year old Owen. We live in Utah and are moving to a brand new house next week! I haven't started the Atkins diet, I am mainly here to find out mroe about it and see if it is something for me. I have tried many things - WW, LA Weightloss, etc. and never loose weight! I am wanting to loose around 100 pounds.

YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! this is Nothing like WW or LA Weightloss! this Way Of Eating is Wonderful...! i started on 9/11 so yesterday was my 1 Month Anniversary and i just LOVE eating the Atkins way! im Never Hungry and im eating foods that really truly satisfy my taste... Mmm mmm mmmmmm... if you havnt gotten the Book yet, go out and get you one! and read thru all the Forums ESPECIALLY THE STICKYS! those are the very 1st hits on each Forum... there is lots of important information in there! Welcome! and Good Luck to ya!!!

Hi Lacey! Welcome to ADBB. Definitely take a look all around the board, particularly at the stickies at the tops of our forums. There's much information to be seen. It's great you're here before making a snap decision to eat this way. This is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. I hope you decide to give it a go.

Have you read the book? DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 edition) is the one you want. It explains everything!
