    Hi Im New To This Board But Not New To Atkins. About 4 Yrs Ago I Lost About 20 Pds On Atkins But Then I Went Back To My Old Woe. And For The Last Few Months Ive Been Trying To Get Back On Induction. The Problem Is,after The First-third Day,i Give In And Give Up. I Am Very Very Addicted To Chocolate And Bad Food. Its All I Think About. I Have Depression But After A Few Days Of Not Having My Comfort Food I Become Very Depressed And Comfort Myself (and Lift My Mood) With An Entire Bag Of Hershey Kisses. This Is The Farthest Ive Made It So Far---this Is My Fifth Day. Tonight Im Having A Hard Time,i Want To Cheat.im Hoping By Writing This Ill Get Some Encouragement.
    I Had A Baby 9 Months Ago And Lost All My Baby Weight Plus More(not Using Atkins) And I Have About 20 Pds Left. Im 24. Nice To Meet You All

    Nice to meet you to Sommer. Do you know about L-Glutamine and how it will help you with your cravings of sweets? That would be the ticket for you. You can take up to 3000 mg a day. I take it in the evening because that was my munch time. Your doing great on your fifth day. Stay strong and don't give in.

      WELCOME BACK. SHERRI IS RIGHT, L-GLUTAMINE WILL HELP WITH CRAVINGS. I USUALLY HAVE A DIET SODA TO HELP WITH MY CRAVINGS. MAKE SURE IT IS MADE WITH SPLENDA.

        Welcome. Glad to see you back on Atkins. You'll love the board, there are so many wonderful and knowledgable people here to share your goals and cheer you on. Get active in the forums and make lots of friends, its the best way to enjoy this way of life and keep focused.

          Hi there Sommer! Nice to meet you. You've come to the absolute tip top place for support and inspiration.
          Congrats on making it through the first five days. Hang in there and stay strong... it's soooo worth it and it really does get easier as you go along. Every time you feel yourself craving, have a high fat snack (always have something with you, even if only a few olives or a piece of cheese). Also, concentrate on how fleeting would be the comfort/taste sensation if you cave, but how long lasting the satisfaction of not doing so and making further progress towards your goal.

          Post lots and keep us up to date as to how you're doing. We're here for you!

            Hi Somesposito! I just responded to you in another thread, and in this thread I can say WELCOME TO THE BOARD! Yo've made a great decision coming here, I think you will find plenty of support. Support and encuragement are what's needed to stick with this plan. Congrats on your loss so far!
