  • Hi and Wow!

What a fabulous site for support and education! I'm sure I'll be checking in here quite frequently.

I am 54 years young. I've been married for 29+ years to the best man on the planet and if all goes well I'd love to spend another 50 or so active and fun years with him.

As of two weeks ago I am waging my own personal war against fat. I consider myself a strong person, but even strong people can (and should) benefit from guidance and support...So, thanks in advance. I'm definitely going to take advantage of all of your knowledge and experience.

I began induction on Oct 9 at 208 pounds
    Yesterday on Oct 22 I weighed 197 #.
I'm pleased with the vanishing 11 pounds and prepared to fight on. Induction went smoothly for the most part. I've had a day here and there where I felt light headed and just not as alert as I should be, but those days were surrounded by very good days full of energy.

    Nice to meet you all!

      1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

            Thanks for the replies everyone!
Had a great day today and hope you all did too.

Wish I would have measured myself two weeks ago because I can already feel a significant difference in the way my clothes fit...yippee.
