Hi, just wanted to reintroduce myself. I'm also a re-starter.
Went off plan in the fall, and have managed to "negotiate" reasons to not get back on plan until now. I've been lurking about the boards, reading a lot of posts and telling myself that I know this plan works, I really need to jump back on the bandwagon. I've been doing this for 2 whole months, lol. Well, today is the day. I almost!! put it off again. Thinking, well, I don't have the right foods in the house, it's cold, I won't be able to go out and walk, etc, etc. I am the queen of rationalization and procrastination. :yes Anyway, I took a look in the fridge, found some ground beef, and lol....I had a hamburger with 2 slices of cheese for breakfast. Not your usual fare, but I'm out of eggs. So, I'm off and running again. I am on my way to the grocery store to stock up on good food, and I will not be deterred this time. I managed to gain back 10 pounds of my 20 pound loss, but at least it wasn't all 20. As for exercise, I have been debating joining curves for a year, but kept telling myelf, oh it's on the other end of town, I don't have time , blah, blah (rationalization), lo and behold, they moved the location. It's now a mile from my house and I HAVE to drive by it everyday on my way home from work. I told my husband, this is a sign!! Curves will be my first stop on the way to the grocery store this morning. Best wishes to all of you, this board is the best
