hello there
my name is branwyn, i am a 32 year old mama to 3 girls, wife to a gamer/ninja/carguy. 2 years ago i lost 40 lbs (from 189 to 149) doing the calorie counting thingy but slowly gained back to 171 because...well i suck at counting calories. as soon as i feel restricted i find myself awake at 2am "sneaking" food - from myself no less. i am also bipolar and recently allowed myself to be put on meds for it (i was diagnosed bipolar 11 years ago but went off meds 10 years ago 1 reason was fear of gaining weight).
when i was a teenager i had eating disorders that i mostly learned by wating my mama. she never told me i was fat, quite the opposite - but she herself was on dietpills and lived on 300 calories a day and obsessively exercising for 15 years before she had a few ministrokes. she was 5'5 and got down to 80 lbs. i battle EDs still so not not feeling like i am not deprived is a huge deal for me. for my first week of induction i have felt pretty good. yesterday and today i have felt a bit of the "induction flu" but i am making it 1 hour at a time
i have started some speedwalking (running is too hard on my arthritic joints) and would like to get back into yoga and bellydancing.
i am not sure what else to write about myself, but i look forward to meeting everyone and learning a lot!
