    First post here.

    Started the low carb lifestyle in summer 2000, lost 35 pounds of fat in 3 months and feel great. I have gained about 15 back and now the low carb doesn't seem to work as well. After lurking here, I think it may be candida, so I started up with oil of orangatang...I mean oregano . This is all new to me and very interesting. I hope to lose the 15 and maybe 10 more. Everyone in my family thinks I am becoming a health freak, but they are all overweight, so there.

    BTW, what is DANDR and what is WOE?

    DANDR is Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution and WOE is way of eating. Welcome to the board, lots of wonderful supportive people on the board. Good luck.

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.
