Hi Everyone! I am really excited this time :icondance I am ready to get fit and healthy. I am currently doing induction and so far have lost 6 pounds. My goal is to lose a total of 96 pounds to reach my goal weight of 150. Only 90 more to go!! I love to cook and it shows. I'm not fat for no reason, ya know! Biscuits, sausage gravy and homemade pie are how I got to this point. I am sure I will be able to turn things around because the Atkins diet allows me to still eat alot of the things I like. I am a Homemaker (I prefer the term Domestic Engineer, hee hee!) and follow the flylady program to keep my house in shape ( www.flylady.net ) so, now it's time for me too It would be neat to have a board here for flybabies on atkins. I have 2 beautiful boys and a wonderful supportive hubby. I hope to make some friends here. See y'all on the boards!

    Your New Pal,

        Hi Tessa!

Another Tennessean here! I have gone through Induction before and did well, but got off track a few weeks later when I got a job in Pulaski where our boss buys us lunch several times a week. Before I knew it I had gained what I lost plus some.

I felt so good on Induction (after the first few days) and know that I need to lose the weight to stay healthy (diabetes runs in my family). My husband is going to do it with me this time because we both want to be healthier and get away from the addiction. We both admitted the other night that we were addicted.

You hadn't updated this post in a while and I hope you are still on track. We can do this!
