Hi everyone,
I'm excited for to start losing weight. I've done Atkins several times over the years and it has always helped me. However, I have strayed in the last few years and my weight has steadily crept up. I stopped doing yoga when I started graduate school, stopped walking as much when I moved from New York to L.A. and am now carrying 155 pounds on a 5'4 frame. I was recently trying to lose some weight through a low fat, low calorie , mainly vegetarian diet. After a month of 1200 calories a day and exercising I hadn't lost one pound! I am a serious carb addict - bread, rice, pasta, red wine. Atkins has always helped me to deal with those cravings.
So: I'm (re)starting induction today. My ultimate goal weight is 125. My first goal weight, hopefully by christmas, is 148. Anyone have any tips for speeding up induction? I've sort of been doing it for five days, but had some drinks on my birthday. Haven't seen any loss at all yet.
thanks, and good luck
