  • Hello From South Eastern Wisconsin

I :wave am so happy to find this forum! 2 year ago I lost 40 on this way of eating. I had tried lots of diets in the past but the last time my husband did the Atkins Way with me. Between the 2 of us we lost 90#. A few months after our son's wedding (the goal we used for our weight loss) my husband was injured at work, needed surgery, and has not worked in over a year. Not only have I lost my diet buddy, but the stress has added on the pounds, I have gained 30# back. I need to get back on track and am looking forward to the support of this group.

One of my concerns of that since I had such great success the first time but did not keep the weight off, I may have lost my golden oppurtunity with this way of life. Any "second timers" who have had success? I am inerested in hearing of your progress.

Thanks for all the get posts, I have enjoyed meeting many of you through your Atkins journey on this forum

Hi, glad you found us and what a great post. There are a lot of second time arounders on board and they don't seem to have that big weight loss at the beginning, but they do lose about a pound to two a week. The board was going to start a forum for folks second time arounders, but I guess it never happened.

    Glad you found us
