  • Super new but super excited!!

    Hi All!

Today is day number one for me. I have been reading your message board for about a month and just got up the determination to start. I am hoping to get back to a healthier me. I have gained about 75 lbs. since marriage ( a long time ago) and hope to lose about 50 lbs this year! Goal number one for me, other than Getting through a clean induction is joining a gym. I have never participated in a message board before but all the encouragement and tips you give each other was a deciding factor to go for it!!

I would be super interested in hearing from anyone else starting today 1-2-08 (can you believe it is already 2008?!?)

Re: Super new but super excited!!

Welcome Monicab--you have made a great decision.

I have only been here a month and like you I lurked and read A LOT before committing myself to this WOE and starting to post on here.

It is the best decision I have made in a LONG time. If I do not lose another pound I will continue to eat this way because I feel great--much higher energy and just **happier** in general.

The people I have encountered on this board are some of the most caring and helpful that I have ever met and I am so glad I found .

Best wishes for a clean induction and becoming a gym rat
