I did atkins last summer and lost about 17 lbs... I strayed away and went back to regular eating since then and gained 6 lbs back. I started again last week and did well for four days before I gave in to some silly pancakes. So I started again today and have lost a pound already. I'm the type of person that needs lots of reassuring because I always lose a little bit of weight, and then tell myself that I look fine the way I am, and then I eat regular again and gain back the weight and go into a deep hatred of myself for being so repulsive. Issues? Yes. So my current weight is 206 (205 now) and my goal is 145. I'm trying to reach this goal by my 21st birthday, which is December 10. I'm already inspired by looking at everyone's before and after pictures.... I can't wait to post my own!!

Re: starting again
Welcome to the board! Glad to have you and you will find all the motivation and help you need here.
One thing that will help you enormously to be successful in the long term is to start thinking of THIS way of eating as regular eating, and the other way as bad eating/abnormal eating. There is nothing regular about eating in a way that makes you overweight, unhealthy and unhappy.went back to regular eatingKate
