    HI~

I am new to Atkins and I am looking forward to this journey. I have tried many but I believe this life change will be the one for me. Everyone seems so supportive and thats what I need. I am however going through withdrawls from Mt.Dew...Yes I am addicted to it so I haven't fully started. I believe by Monday I will not be so shaky. Thanks for listening.

Hang in there! After a few days of feeling rough, you'll get over the hump and start to feel wonderful, not to mention more energised.

Kudos to you for taking the approach that this is a "life change". That's the way to permanent success, for sure!

            Re: Newbie

Welcome, I am a newbie too. Failed a week ago and restarted only yesterday. Back on the horse.
I am on day 2 and the strip is already purple.

Lots of water and eggs for me...and I love spinach.

My addiction was fruity candy....and I mean BAGS of candy.
My kids called Skittles my "Crack". This is so hard for me so I am committed to visiting this forum daily to keep on track.

            Visit often.
I love the success stories and quite honestly slowly becoming addicted to reading them.

              Hey Jamaicangirl,

You will get a lot of support here. Most of us have given up some addiction to be here. My poison is strawberry shortcake and pound cake!
