    Hi everyone,

    I found this site last night and I have to say I am so motivated now. I know that weight loss can be done. I have about 50 lbs. to lose. I weighed this morning and it looks as if I have lost 3 lbs. since New Year's Day. That was my 1st day. I have been able to give up all the carbs and am down to 1-2 Diet Coke's a day. It sounds like alot, but compared to what I used to drink it isn't. Anyway, thanks to everyone who has posted their successes. I am so anxious to see what happens in 4 months. My husband and I are trying to plan a Las Vegas vacation in early May. I would love to be able to do my new size shopping in LV. What a treat that would be Also, can anyone tell me how to set mini goals and such on the site?

    Welcome to the board, this is a great place. I used to be a diet coke nut myself between 5-8 a day, but now none for 78 days. After the the initial 2-3 days of craving I feel so much better.

    Since you have about 50 lbs. to lose I would suggest setting your mini-goals in ten pound increments, most people just list them in their signature and update as they go along.

    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

      Welcome aboard! Nice to have you with us! Congrats on your 3 lb loss so far and on having drastically reduced the diet cokes. I'm sure that pretty soon you'll have taken them out altogether!

          A agree, mini goals of 10 pounds are do-able! You just create it within your signture. Go up to your User CP and click on Edit Signature. Then make your goal list and save it.
