    Hi all...I said to myself the first of the year I was going back on induction...I ended up trying to eat only three meals a day no white flower or sugar I have been so hungry and I have felt lonely So I come back to my friends I need serious help. I just got off a major binge about an hour ago BECAUSE I WAS SO HUNGRY! I should have started induction when I said I would. so any one out there willing to help a girl out? Induction starts tomarrow. I have done proper atkins in the past and lost a lot weight. I need to do so again.
    By the way my name is Raistlin.

    Well, what were you trying to do it by yourself for when we are here to help??? You know Dr. Atkins said to eat as long as it is true hunger--just eat something with fat to fill you up and keep you full. If you've done this before, you know that after a few days, you'll stop being hungry and forget to eat. Here's a hug Now go right now and make yourself something sinfully fatty and tasty! Don't even wait until tomorrow. Don't try to hold down the calories the first few days. Do it right--eat when hungry--just until satisfied and not stuffed.

    Join in, join a challenge, make friends and this won't happen again.

      Hi there,

      Don't forget to eat if you are hungry. Just eat the right things. I made a list with the help of the Atkins book of all of the items that I like to eat. I was surprised it was way more than I thought it would be. I have been drinking lots of water. I always try to drink a glass before I eat. It seems if I do that I end up feeling full quicker. You can do it. I always say "try to visualize the end results." I just joined this BB and it has been so helpful. Reading the success stories really motivated me. Take it slow. You can do it!!! Good luck and keep us posted! I am 7 days in and I feel wonderful!

          Hi Raistlin, welcome to you. It's so good that you came directly to the board with that first post of yours! This board is really key in sticking with this way of eating (WOE). The people are so supportive, as you can see. If you need a hug, you will get one!

          Do youself a favor and do a clean 14 day induction starting now! Keep foods on hand so you don't get hungry. Eat from the acceptable food list, drink your water and you will be fine!

            I started my New Years resolution the day after Christmas. I knew, I was setting myself up for the 1-1-08 failure, always do. Every single year. So, join me and help me stick to it! I will help you too, if you want?

            BTW, my kids had some pringles and I was so tempted like two hours ago. I wanted those chips. I knew if I popped I could not stop. I would of headed to the kitchen as well... I stress eat. ate my whole carvel birthday cake almost alone (small one LOL)....

              Hi there...

              I have found that removing every little peice of unauthorized foods has kept me on track...now I am a bit different than alot of people in that I LOVE cheese, meats and veggies and really do not care for Chips and desserts(other than coblers) but I to understand your feelings the 3rd day in I had THE WORST craving for sweets. I got online and found induction friendly treats and that has saved me...now I am past those first few days and already seeing an improvement. You just need to hang in there and jump on here when frustrated...also if you want a buddy please don't hesitate to PM me and I will give you my email addy....We all need to be there for eachother is my thought! Here is a big hug and a HUGE...YOU CAN DO THIS!
