  • New to Atkins...

Hi, I am new to Atkins. I have tried lmost everything to lose weight int the past. I have recently had a small success on my own - 35lbs, but I need help completing my final 50 pounds. I have a serious sweet tooth, and am hoping that the induction phase will help with that. I will be 30 in just under 3 months, and I wanted to be completely done by then. (I started in May 2007). I guess I need to reevaluate my goal.. because 50 pounds in under 3 months seems a bit undoable.
I am happy to join the Atkins crew, and I think i'll take on some of the challenges I saw posted.
    Thanks for listening.

        Welcome to Faht!

It's great that you're trying to break that sweet tooth. Once you do, the temptations you face daily from all that sugary junk out there will be much easier to face.

Best of luck on your weight loss journey and if you need anything please feel free to give a shout!

            Welcome to the board.

You can go to tickerfactory.com and make your counter and then post the [IMG] link in your signature. It will show as only a link, but once you click save and view it in a post, it shows. You can do pictures that way to, thru photobucket.com or any other link you may have.

Welcome faht! 35 pounds is no "small success" as you put it, it's a grand feat! Congrats on that.

Induction will help with the sweet tooth. If not, there are plenty of legal and induction friendly goodies you could have! Stay away from sweets as long as possible because the general craving for them very well could go away entirely.
