Hi all,
I donated blood today. I drank lots of water beforehand, had a good breakfast and lunch and thought I would be fine. I donated the blood, skipped the cookie offered afterward and went back to work. About an hour later I was walking to my car and it was all I could do to get one foot in front of the other. Then I got home and was washing dishes and I had to sit down. I ate a small spoon of organic, no sugar, peanut butter. I'm not sure if this was OK, but I needed something quick. I had a few sliced cucumbers, 2 slices of bacon and a fried egg for dinner. Has anyone ever had this happen? I have donated blood in the past and never felt this way. Was it because I skipped the sugar afterward? Any info. would be great. Thanks to all who are so helpful to those of us in their induction stage (I'm day
. Also, I lost 3 lbs very quick (water?) Nothing has happened in the last few days. What is the norm to lose per week or month? I do (other than this afternoon) feel better than I have in years. I haven't been moody which is a miracle. I kinda feel a sense of euphoria or something like that???? Thanks again!
