Hi all!
I've been reading the boards for a couple of days now, and I'm really glad I found all of you.
My wife and I had great success with Atkins a couple of years back, I went from 355 down to around 265 over a year, but slowly most of the weight has come back. I've rationalized eating with stress and work and any other BS excuse I could come up with, and I'm tired of that.
I'm determined not to get back to my pre-atkins weight, instead get back down below that previous low point.
This was me around 265:
What I ultimately want is to find that body I had back in the military days again... I know it's in there:

In my entire adult life, low carb has been the only thing that worked for me, and I'm going back on it, with a few other life changes to make a more lasting change this time around. Unforunately my wonderful and supportive wife won't be doing it with me this time, as she's 3 months pregnant, so I'm looking for support in other places.... so ...
This is me today, back around 320, and I just need to reverse this trend!

Thanks!
Ron

Some days I wish I had stuck in and done my 20. I would be retiring next month! (and I'm betting with a lot less soda and cheesecake around the middle!)
