  • Hello Everyone

    Hi

I am ready to get cracking with this after reading the book over and again for the past year or so.

I have just turned 30 and I am a Type 1 diabetic. I have been needing more and more insulin lately and although I knew in my head that low carb or Atkins was the only way to successfully lower my blood sugar levels, I found I was reluctant to give up all the bad carbs that I so crave each day!

I am around a stone overweight, and could only forsee this getting worse as the years go by so I made a decision over this weekend to go for it.

It has been great reading everyone's stories and I wish everyone including myself good luck with this

Welcome Karen! Good thing you've read the book (again). It is always motivational to re-read what you already know. I'll look forward to seeing you around.

                1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

Thankyou! I wish I had acted on the book rather than using it as a novel!
