    hi everyone! ive been looking in for months now but have only just signed up and thought id tell my story.im male and 32 years old and weigh about 19st.i have been on this woe before and was really successful losing about 26 lbs in 8 weeks. then a night on the drink with friends and a pizza on the way home soon put a stop to my weightloss. i know i should have just started again but its about 2 years later and i have put the weight and more back on. it was the best feeling in the world to fit into shirts and jeans that i couldnt before and i want to be like that again. looking through this site has made me realise im a binge eater eating things like sandwiches and pies that never fill me so i eat more im a disgrace!! i used to be a football player and was really fit until i got to about 24 25 when i stopped playing and going to the gym to lift weights which i used to love. ive started and stopped atkins about 4 times since new year which i know is shocking and that i have no will power but am now sick and tired of being a failure and know that i can do it as i did it good before. im working in holland at the minute and dont go home for 5 weeks in which time i want my wife to really notice the difference so ive just bought my food and have been drinking water like i should and am also doing 100 situps a night which is a start. my problem is that i look at myself in the mirror and think that im not that big and if i see another big person i always think that im nowhere near the size of them but i must be if im 19 stone.thanks for your time and hope to be successfull this time around.

      YOU CAN DO IT. "WE" CAN DO IT ! Once you see the weight melting off, it's full speed ahead ! Keep a positive atttitude. It really helps. Good luck to you. Good luck to me !!

        Hi Pools,

        All of us here are one big family...here to help and support each other. We applaud at each others successes and uplift at anothers relapse.....keep your focus on your health goal and always know we are all cheering you on!! You can do it!!
        This is me a few yrs ago at my ideal weight of 130

        And I will get back there...I AM DETERMINED! :D

            Warm welcome aboard Pools! Good to have you with us for the ride to target (and then on to maintenance!!)

            Use the board and all it has to offer... post lots, make friends, join a challenge or two, maybe start a journal... Everything helps.
