  • Hello..new here....

    Hello everyone,
    I am not new to this diet, but starting over again, as of today, which is the 2-9-08..
    I have many plans for the up-coming future or new year, and need to lose as much as I can. I hope that I can get to my desired goal once June comes around. Right now, my weight is 190.0. I would like to get back to my normal weight two years ago... at 125.. I have tried many times to start this diet and stay committed to it. But I guess it never works. I find myself slipping away and gaining on the lost poulds again. However after reading all of the successful stories here. I would like to try it again. I know atkins works and I know I can do it again. Well, I will be posting results after one month. Wish me LUCK...I need lots of it.

    Hi Annable and welcome back. You will succeed again. You just need to stay focused on this WOE and not see it as a diet so much. Yes it does work and it will work for you again. Be encouraged and we look forward to hearing how well you are doing. Also, get involved in some of the challenges. This helps me stay motivated. Also trying visiting the Second Time Around Club. Many people, including myself post there for support.

      Welcome Annabel. (beautiful name - I had an Auntie Annabel) Welcome to the family. Glad you've committed to sticking to the program and getting healthy. There are lots of people here who will help support and encourage you. Get to know them through challenges, journals, forums and the chat room. They'll keep you motivated, give you ideas, suggestions and be great friends to help you stay focused. We all care and want each other to succeed. Get active and don't look back...go forward and make plans to achieve your goal. You can do it. Atkins works and we are all here for you!

            Hi Annabel - Welcome to the best support group around. Just remember its not a diet - its a lifestyle. Post often especially if you fill yourself slipping -- you will find the encouragement you need to keep on going.
