    well this is my second time around with atkins... Yeah I fell into the trap of gaining most of my weight back but I know it wasn't anyones fault but my own.


    anyways I'm going on day four and have already lost four pounds. Good luck to all of starting with 14 day and congrats to everyone who has had long term success.

      you know I realized after I made this username it probably wasn't the best to use for this board....


      When my cousin and I would hang out at his house his roomates cat would jump on my lap. She would start pushing her paws into my lap, like she was kneading dough so I would say she was makin biscuits..... It just always kinda stuck with me.

          Cute story . Congrat's on the 4 pounds - thats pretty good especially just being on the plan for 4 days. Alot of us are second/third timers.. but we will succeed

            Hi, Welcome to the board and great job on the weight loss.
            40 year old male 6' 3"

            What I know:
            1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
            2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
            3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
            4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                well I'm half way through and still goin strong. I'm down 10 lbs so far and I'd like to drop another five over the next six days of induction.

                My ankle is finally fully healed (slipped on some ice and twisted it) so I am starting my workout regimen tomorrow to kick it into overdrive.

                    Congrats on the 10 lb loss so far Makinbiscuits, and welcome aboard!
                    I love your username... don't worry about it not being suitable for the board... once you get to the nut rung of OWL (ongoing weight loss), you'll be able to make biscuits with almond flour!
