  • Hi, I'm back...again

    Hey all,

    I'm back ......again. About 5 years ago I did Atkins and stuck to it for about a year without falling off at all and lost 71 pounds. I felt the best I ever had in my life and then .... I went on vacation, figured I’d keep it off and slowly went back to all my old habits. I've started and stopped a hand full of times but never seriously committed. Now all of the pounds are back on and I need to do something about it before I actually go over my original weight. So wish me luck and hopefully I'll see you around.

    150 Goal by Feb. ~big bitchin new tattoo ;)

      Welcome back V. Glad you've decided to come back and make it happen. You had great success before, so you know what committment is involved in going at it again. Make sure you go through the 4 phases of Atkins so you can learn as you go to not only make goal but be able to maintain afterwards. There's lots of information, challenges, before/after photos and stories and warm friendly people here that will help and motivate you! Welcome...come often and let us help you share your success.

        Welcome back V - there are plenty of us that didn't get it right the first time (i.e. realized the change was working and slipped back into old habits).. The good thing is that you found this forum and are ready to get back to a healthy weight. Make sure to join the challenges and post often.
