  • Hello from Aus

    HI,

Just discovered this forum and its great! Anyone out there from Australia?
I followed atkins about 4 years ago and got down to a weight of 56 kg which was the slimmest Ive been as an adult and I loved it! Then I opened the gate to carbs and the horse bolted and I havent been able to get it back in the stall since then! So needless to say I am back to old habits and have gradually krept up to 75 kg which is the heaviest Ive ever been. Wasnt even that heavy when I was pregnant! I also have Fibromyalgia which makes it harder to exercise with out painful consequences. Tried many many diets but now I am back on induction and hoping to goodness I can make it work. Only aiming to get to 60kg this time. This is day 4 for me and in the first 2 days I lost 2.5 kg though I know it was only fluid.... man thats a lot of liquid ! nothing lost this morning and didnt think I wold cos 2.5 a lot in 2 days.
Anyway wish me luck I am trying to be strong and beat these cravings for vanilla slices and lollies.
    Have a great day.

      Hi Armz,

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to LowCarbing. The good news is that you've had great success before so you know this way of eating works well for you. I came back after gaining weight too. You just have to jump in and stay committed. You can do this again. I also have fibromyalgia so we are a lot alike. I couldn't exercise like many people could do, but, I still lost the weight. So, if you want this you can do it.
