  • Day 1:

    Hello everyone.
This is fay, 33 yrs, f, married ( almost a single mother) and have an autistic daughter, who is 4 years old. I have a very stressful job. I commute and by the end of the day, I am not able to spend quality time with my lovely daughter. Part of the problem is my weight. I am always tired, lethargic, always in a terrible mood, and unable to run around and play with her. I want to lose weight and feel energetic for my daughter. So this time, I am doing it for myself and for her. She needs me, and I cannot let her down.
I have tried Atkins 3 years ago, and had big success! I lost 22 lbs in 4 weeks ( extended induction), but I fell off the vagon. This time I am going to take it slow. One month of induction then follow the rest of the phases as I should.
I have almost 44 lbs to reach my happy weight. I am going to take it one day at a time. I seriously started My first day of induction today, and despite the awful headache, I am happy coz I am back..
Thank you for your support. All these pictures and success stories motivate me to a great extent.

    Good luck on your journey!

You will find knowledge & support here at ADBB. Post often, ask questions, start a journal & join a challenge or two. Make sure you take your measurements so you can keep track of the inches you lose. Here is a great low carb recipe site that is wonderful.

Yes, I agree, take pictures and measurements...never just rely on that scale as it can be evil at times.

I too fell off the wagon for trying to do induction the whole time the last time I tried to do this and I am doing it right now. I wish you the best of luck!
