  • Starting over for the umpteenth time

Seriously, I don't even remember how many times I've started over. I was a member here and started out doing great. I'm an emotional eater, life was upside down and I turned back to food because I thought it comforted me. It doesn't feel so comfortable now that I'm back weighing 2 pounds more than I did when I first came here.

So I'm back with my tail between my legs. I even thought about just sneaking back in but decided I'd announce my return and take my medicine.

Anyway, I'm here and promise to do my very best at this.

Welcome back! Hi, I'm Diva68 and I'm a stress eater. Your post sounds a lot like mine. I started 02/26/08, completed 14 Day Induction-(lost 7lbs) and went off plan. I started back on 3/27/08 and weighed in with 1.5 lbs more than my original start. I was stressed beyond limits. But...here we are! We made the right decision to start again!!
    HAPPY LOSING!!!

Welcome back to Atkins and the ADBB! It's terrific that you decided to re-commit. No need to keep that tail between your legs.... there are plenty here who've strayed and then returned multiple times. The important thing is that you are back.

Try to figure out what triggers your falls from the wagon... then you'll be able to make a plan to avoid the same thing happening.

Post lots and keep us updated as to your progress. We're behind you all the way.
          Before and after:

Welcome back. No need to feel ashamed, give yourself a big 'Whoo-hooo' for recommiting. What caused you to stray? Write out those events that happened to make you lose focus and make action plans now for what you'll do differently. Having a plan in place will help avoid those obstacles and make you stronger. Best wishes. Glad to have you back!

Thanks, everyone. I took a deep breath, made the re-committment and I'm ready to do this. I'm on the 3rd day and going strong so far.

I can do this! I am definitely planning on being active here, it helps so much. You are a great group of people!
