    Hi, I'm Alison.
    So I have been on Atkins for 2 weeks now (I will be doing extended induction) and I have lost 10 pounds. It's great. I'm not as hungry as I use to be, I feel better, and I get to eat some delicious meals. I don't even feel like I'm on a "diet." Its almost too easy that it scares me. When I first started I was like "there is no way I am going to lose weight eating a double bacon cheeseburger even if I don't eat the bun or ketchup. No way." But I lost 6 pounds my first week and I had an In-N-Out protein burger 3 times that week! I make a lot of recipes from Linda's Low Carb menu, it has made a huge difference. The Chicken and 'Stuffing' Quiche is the best for breakfast! Again, its just amazing.

    This board is great and its good to hear where other people are coming from. I've had weight issues my entire life but it wasn't until the last couple of years it really got out of control. I hope this is the way for me because I love it so far and I want this so badly.

        I'm sure you'll do wonderfully well... it's strange in the beginning, isn't it? You can hardly believe it's possible to lose weight eating so well!
        Glad you found Linda's site. Her recipes are the best!
