Hi!
I'm new to the diet and the site
I must say I've been really impressed by all the support everyone on here gives eachother! I've browsed around looking for a great bulletinboard for help, support, and inspiration and I think I've definitely found it! All of the success stories are so inspirational, I can't wait to tell everyone about MY success on Atkins!
I started Induction on March 31, 2008, and so far so good! I've already lost three pounds and I'm thrilled. Can't wait to see how much more comes off on the rest of the induction phase! I haven't started really exercising yet (because I've felt pretty crappy because of "withdrawl" symptoms), but I want to start soon! I've been heavy pretty much my whole life, ever since about second grade, and I'm not expecting to ever be a size 6, just something healthier, where I'm happier. Heck, I'd just love to be back in the 100's again! I'm only 22, so hopefully my young body can kick itself into gear!
It's also helped me a lot so far that my family and boyfriend are being so supportive. My dad has been doing Atkin's (well, on and off) for about 9 years now, and he's in the second week of induction, so we don't really have a lot of "junk" food in the house. Thankfully we don't have much temptation to cheat! I do drive past like, a million McDonald's though every day, so once I don't crave that anymore, I'll know I'm on the road to success!
Just wanted to introduce myself, since I'll probably be posting a lot since I have a long journey ahead of me!
