    G'day all, firs timer here, my wife has done the Atkins before and is doing it again, but its my initiation, have to read up on the program but started on April 1st at 250 lb, goal max is 200.

      Morning Steve... nice to meet ya! Welcome to the ADBB.
      It's great that you're going to be doing this with your wife. You'll be able to support and inspire each other, not to mention the practical (as in cooking) advantages.

      Kudos to you for wanting to read up on the programme. You really need the DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution) 2002 edition, which is the one the board goes by as it was the last one written by Dr A before his death. Any editions subsequent to that have been messed around with by others.

          Good news is I have already started to lose, down to 242 already, a long way to go..........

                I have ordered two Atkins cook books and the Diet Revolution dated 2002 from eBay, time to get a bit more knowledge between these ears
