    First Week- Weight Gain?

    Hi,
Today was my first weigh in. I have what I believe to be a clean induction so far.

I GAINED 5 pounds in my first week!! What the... !! Has that happened to anyone else???

I was doing Jenny Craig before this. Could my body just need another week to adjust??

    Thanks in advance,
    Kat

perhaps post your menu, to see if there are any suspects.

I had tried atkins once in the past and had lost a few pounds the first week but the second week I actually had gained a pound or two. When I got into investigating the things I was eating I realized that some had hidden carbs which are very sneaky. Do some investigating of your own, maybe that's the problem. And don't worry, you'll get it together and will be looking awsome in no time. Stay positive. That's the trick!

Also keep your water intake up. That always helps. Hang in there!

Post a menu, a lot of people think they are doing a clean induction and really aren't. The people here are often great at trouble shooting menus. Another thing you might check besides water is your... um... poop. If you aren't going #2 you may be losing but have all the weight backed up in your colon! plus if you can't eliminate waste you won't burn food efficiently either.
