  • The New Me

Hi, I am new here. I am working at losing this weight gradually and have basically skipped Induction after Week 1. Moderation fits my life style best. I am losing, though slowly, but not feeling deprived, and have a lot more energy. Looking to share my adventures with others who have the same goals.

While I applaud you for wanting to take control of your own health, I wonder if you spent a bit of time hearing all of the success stories of others, maybe it would inspire you to "go all out." It's true, moderation is important. Isn't this lifestyle the epitome of that? Why not give it the 2 full weeks, then add back in what you can while still slowly losing? Did you find the induction menu too strict? Just curious. We all want to see you successful. Hi-fives for making the first step.

Warm welcome aboard! Nice to have you join us here.

I too am wondering about your decision to skip induction. Have you read the book? Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution 2002 edition is the one you want if you haven't. It's great to understand how and why this programme works so well.

Here's wishing you every success. We all look forward to following your progress towards better health and a trim figure.
