My name is Brooke Gaskill, and i started induction six days ago. I DID lose 4 lbs, but i dont think i'm doing it right. I started reading his book yesterday and got 1/4 through it, and am hoping to finish it today. I'm getting a little frustrated thought, as i see most people do in induction. I feel confused and a little lost when it come to coming up with creative meals. I've read the receipes in the book and quite a few online, but it still didn't help. I mean...i love meat, so i would think i would be okay. But the only vegetables i like are green beans, carrots, peas, and lettuce. So i'm kind of lost in that area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I work out three days a week at a gym and am starting a spinning class next wednesday. So the activity is defintely taken care of. I'm a stay at home mom of two, who is constantly around food i shouldn't be. I try to keep it out of the house, but even going to my grandma's or mothers, or mother-in-laws, is horrible. I never give in to temptation, but i hate feeling that way. I read all the scientific facts about this diet, but in the back of my head all i keep saying is , "ya know....i just started working out...i bet if i ate healthier(with bread) i would lose weight" I can't help it. I started at 170 lbs and am down to 166 lbs, but for some reason that isn't helping me much. Does anyone have an inspirational induction story? Oh i miss my cherrios...
