  • Hi I am new today

    My name is Fennela and I started Atkins 04/11/08 I am in the induction phase.
    I am 188 pounds and would like to get down to 130. Which for me would be a size 8. I am wearing a size 16w now.
    The huge headache I had for a day and a half has passed and I am 100 % on board. I have all the books and yes I have read them!
    I am from England but have lived in the US for 20 years (now LA). I work in the film and tv biz in wardrobe.

    I have dusted off the treadmill and have jumped back into excersize.
    Medically I have a condition called PCOS which explains the 30 plus weight gain in 18 months (bad carbs).

    If you have any advice I am all ears.

    Hiya Fennela and welcome to the board! You'll find it a wonderful place to come get support, tips and inspiration. Glad you're already through the induction flu... it's all go, go, go from now on!

    Kudos to you for dusting off that treadmill. Weight loss is harder without exercise.

      Welcome Fennela....you'll find everything you need here...The support is awesome.The biggest problem I've found is you'll get addicted to the board LOL!!! thats a good Addiction...carb free

              He Fennela. I totally agree with this. I work 9:30-6, and I stay logged in all day. I am totally addicted. It just keeps me so incouraged throughout the day. Welcome, and I have no doubt you will reach your goal. Especially with all of us cheering you on!!!
