So... Here I go... Day one tomorrow morning for induction. I have rid my home of all carbs... I can do this I live alone.
I have been to the grocery store and stocked up on the necessities... except for pork rinds. I have a roast in the crock pot and it will be done by morning. I have boiled my eggs... and my water is chilled.
My name is Kathy, I am 39, and plan on being much less a woman by my fourtieth birthday next January. I started a while back with a few steps a day, and have build to 4-5kms most days. I thought I could to the mainstream weightloss thing... but hit a plateau. Last fall I had a minor sucess with Atlins induction... with 11 lbs lost in 14 days... gained it all back plus when I reinjured my lower back. So I have decided to hit it hard and serious... No cheats like nuts and excess cheese... or those nasty 100 calorie packs... and plan on giving the induction a real good effort for 30 days. and then will see where I go beyond that...
I also have lurked here for about 5 days now... Psyching myself up to engage in a war, battling my bulge once and for all. I feel I have some success in the lat 45 days. and feel good that coupled with induction I should see some real results.
I look foreward to sharing and learning from everyone here.

Since you've been lurking I'm sure you've checked most everything out...come join us in an excercise challenge when your ready...It does wonders when you know theres someone else out there in the same boat.Theres alot of wonderful people here just waiting to make a new friend,help you out when you need motivation and give you a push in the right direction even if you don't ask ...lol
