  • One year on.. I'm back to square 1

    Hi!

    I joined these boards a year ago when I was living abroad - did atkins kind of on and off a bit but did not monitor progress well. I did feel good though. Since i came back to Scotland last july I have taken up old bad habits and even taken on other people's worse habits (mainly with eating sweets incessantly) and my weight has shotup. The main thing getting to me was my sugar cravings and addictions. So here I am again, one week into induction and looking for support.

    I am 5' 4, day 1 weight 12st 11. Day 9 (today) weight 12st 8.

    I seem to be eating a lot of egg for breakfast and I'm geting sick of it - anyone have any good ideas for breakfast or great low carb products I can try?

    Hi, I haven't been on here in almost 2 years. Our situations are similar. Today was my first day starting after a 4 day cheating binge. When I get sick of eggs I like Morningstar Farms Vegetarian sausage patties. I don't know if they have those where you live but they taste great. They have a lot of protein, some fiber and just a couple carbs. Good Luck to you.

      Does anyone know what 12 st 11 translates to in pounds? I have no idea and am very curious.

      OP, good luck. If you did it once, you can do it again. I understand your wanting to eat sweets, as I'm the same way. Funny thing tho is that I only crave them at night for some reason, whilst during the day I'd crave bread or a big bag of salty chips. Evil, evil I tell ya!

        I just punched the weight into a converter and it is roughly 178 pounds or 81 kilos. My target is 10st/ 63 kilos/ 138 pounds

          For breakfast I'll either eat leftovers from the night before or something that has eggs in it but doesn't taste like eggs like the Mock Danish or some kind of quiche.
