Hello Friends
,
It's so great to be able to read all of the support and positive feedback. This is my first time on this board and I'm on day 4 of the diet. I'm following induction but have closer to 6 oz. of cheese and only 1 carb worth of plain almonds daily (yesterday I ate extra cheese and almonds but kept my carb level to only 6). Otherwise I stand up and get very light headed. A lot of people criticize this diet but I know it works. I did low carb (not Atkins but low carb) after my babies and lost lots of weight.
I've gained about 20 lbs. in the last 3 years and would love to finally be rid of it. It was due to eating lots of junk and nighttime eating. Most of it emotional eating. I'm so ready to get healthy again. I'm tired of being controlled by sugar cravings.
I know calorie counting isn't necessary on this diet but I feel like I'm eating way too many calories (1800). When does reduced appetite kick in? Will I eat less calories the longer I'm on the diet? PMS cravings have always been a problem for me so hopefully that will no longer be an issue. Also, how important is exercising? Will it make a huge difference? I'm very fatigued on this diet. Does anyone else have similar concerns?
Thanks for any input. I really needed this board and support! I also broke my foot a month ago and am stuck at my computer for at least 2 more weeks. I should have done this a month ago!
