    Hi Im kinda a newbie toO glad to be the first to say hello...Ever thought about saying hey Im not going to wait till such and such date... Today will be the day..in fact not just today but this moment right now...this second? Thats what I had to do, because I would say such and such date I would start and that day would role around and I would be like hey tommorrow and then tommorrow never came... If your going to wait I would say mentally prepare yourself before the date comes...it will make it easier to stick with it...the first few days are hard but after that it gets easier...It becomes a way of life

      its is full of thoughtful and inspirational people, and i hope you find it as a second home as many of us have.
      congrats on decideding to start atkins, IT IS WORTH IT!
      CandSwirl did have a good point though- but if you have made up y our mind to start and stick to it in march then congrts, and in the meantime, come here often to learn more and get more inspired. hope to see you around more often.

        welcome to the board since you are waiting you can read your DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION 2002 or later copyright over several times so you understand the importance of following all the rules of the program both the eating and the exercise parts.

            Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I am glad that I found this board, I have been making my way around reading the induction basics, the reason I picked a date is because I needed to make sure this was something I wanted to do and make a way of life for me, and I wanted to find out all the information I could before starting, thanks for your genorisity. :yes

              WELCOME!! I'm so happy you've decided to join us. This is definitely the place to get motivation and encouragement as you get healthy and start your new WAY OF EATING.

              Atkins does work. I am proof of that. Make sure you read the book, drink lots of water, exercise and take supplements. You will be amazed at the inches that melt off of you and the energy that you gain from eating the foods on the list. Best wishes and if you have any questions, just ask!!
