    Hello all. I'm new here, and I am so loving all of the posts. I spent a whole week looking around on the boards before ever deciding to join! Today, my husband and I started Atkins for the second time. The first time around, he lost about 70 & I lost 65. He was thin, and I was down to 285. I felt great just to be down to 285. Then I got pregnant, and we both started eating...as if we had a reason to gorge 7 days a week...u know?

    So, here I am...29 year old mother to a beautiful 11 month old little girl, wife to the most wonderful husband EVER, and back up to 344 pounds. We recently joined a gym, and we are loving it. Also, we stood in line at midnight in order to grab up one of those lovely wii fit games! Looks fun....TOO BAD I CAN'T USE IT FOR ANOTHER 14 POUNDS!! I'm sure that I'll be using it in about 2 weeks with Atkins.

    Bottom line is this. We are fat. We would like to be more fit, active, and healthy. Oh yes, and skinny! (skinny to me would be like 200)

    This has been a lifelong problem for me. I remember getting on the scale during a 6th grade gym class and the teacher yelling out 202! Sheesh! I was huge.

    I need you guys! I'm a nervous wreck. I need to hear from anyone...especially ladies that started over 300 pounds. Tell me your stories!

    5. 212 (weight when I met my hubby~I'm thinking Cancun!)
    6. 199 (5th grade was the last time I was under 200)

    hello to you and I commend you AND your hubby for tag-teaming the weight loss with Atkins. My hubby and I also did Atkins together and I tell ya it's your absolute BEST line of defense when things get rough. Congrats on your daughter as well, you are setting an excellent example for her very early in her life. Make sure to use that membership often because exercise along with Atkins will surely boost your weight loss. Don't be nervous luv, we're here to help you anytime. I have a journal and tons of pics so feel free to pick me for info if you need help. You CAN do this so keep your eye on your weight loss prize. Make sure to take plenty of pics both before, during and after. Your pics will motivate you when nothing else can at times.
