Hi! I am very new to this (so if any errors, I apologize)! I have never posted anything...anywhere!! I just recently started Atkins and still a bit confused but excited. I am not sure about good carbs and bad carbs. Some people tell me that I can eat as much as I can on the allowed list until I am satisfied. Sugars vs. Sugar Alcohol, etc. I hear everyone talking about the "flu" symptoms that they experienced on or after day 3 but I have not had that and I am on day 6 so I question if I am doing it right. Help! =)

I agree, get the book. It lays it all out for you. Also, here is the Atkins website http://www.atkins.com/ Keto sticks help as well. Good luck! This is a great way of life. This message board is amazing! Lots of support and good recipes!

Hello! Actually I have tried to find the book in our little town with no such luck. I was planning on ordering or just taking a little drive to find it. I have been on the site and printed a great deal of information from it that I can refer back to. I will get the hang of it soon enough! Thank you for the info.

Well first off WELCOME!!! Secondly, you can order the book on AMAZON.COM for like a dollar. You don't want to really depend entirely on the atkins website. They are more profit oriented than your health and wellness. When you order the book make sure you get the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution. This board is based on the 2002 edition.
Read the book and it will explain everything. Be careful with the website cause they say that a lot of things like shakes and bars, etc. are allowed on Induction when they really aren't, again it's all about selling their products now. Good luck!
